Rhode Island  Amateur Radio Emergency Services®

~ RI ARES is currently Non-Operational ~

Welcome to the  Rhode Island Amateur Radio Emergency Service (RI ARES) informational page.  Its purpose is to provide  information to the RI Amateur community about the ARES organization, contacts within the organization, radio frequency coordination, digital processes and procedures,  as well as information about  future ARES events.

The above would be true but unfortunately at this time, RI ARRL Leadership has been unable to select anyone who is up to and capable of  fulfilling the duties and responsibilities that is required of the Section Emergency Coordinator.  Without SEC leadership, RI ARES is currently not up to functioning at  contemporary emergency operations  standards.

For amateur emergency communication operations  in your local area, please check with your local Emergency Management Agency Director

Operational Level - Non Operational - Please defer to your  local EMA
