Health and Safety Information

• It is highly recommended that all RI ARES members equip their gear with Anderson Type Powerpole® connections for power compatibility and safety in your go-kit and in your shack.

• This is a mandatory requirement for Go-Kit equipment!

• Please make sure ALL your equipment is properly protected  with in-line fuses and or rig runner type  fuse power distribution panels  using the proper sized fuse for the power load.

• Make sure you have an adequate supply of spare fuses in the type and load size necessary.

• The  picture above is worth a thousand words.   As the installation instructions  above say, make sure you get your polarity correct !  The above will  match the polarity of  the rig runner power distribution panels !
